Stabbing Pain

Two weeks ago I was off the grid intentionally. Last week, not so much. Went on a flight, calf swelled. Not sure why. Couldn't possibly be a DVT. I'm young, in good shape. A few days later. Go to the ER. Admitted to the hospital for a PE (clot in leg traveled to lung). Learned what stabbing pain was. Back on my feet. Feeling fine now, though I'm stuck taking rat poison (blood thinner) for several months. Good times. Moral of the story. No frickin clue. Walk around, I guess. Have a doctor for a wife. Be thankful for dilaudid (10 times stronger than morphine). Anyhoo, still somewhat off the grid, but mostly b/c work's now kicking my non-life-insurable ass. Just updating, and posting occasionally over at the Alliterati.
